F&A and shipping – Peter Wheatcroft Art
How long does a drawing take to make?
Each piece can vary depending on the size and complexity of the picture. The line work would typically take up to six months to draft, with the cleaning and digital colouring process taking up to 4 months.
How are the prints made?
Each piece is made using drafting tools and drawing board. I scan the original pieces at 600 DPI, then take the electronic file into adobe photoshop, where the drawing is cleaned and digitally coloured.
What type printing is used?
There are two different mediums of print that are used.
Paper prints ranging from A3 – A2 are printed on 180gms matt finished paper. These are described as a ‘poster style’ of print, which captures the detail and colour of images very well.
Paper prints ranging from A1 – A0 are printed on 350ms fine art giclee fine art paper. The larger giclee prints and the closest representation to the original artwork.
